210 preschool children participate in animation and family support activities (AAAF), during the Easter holidays. This is another response from the Estorreja City Council to the needs of families during school interruptions.

During this period, AAAF operates all day from 7:30 to 18:30 in the schools of Father Donaciano (includes the School of Heads), Viscount de Salreu, Prof. Dr. Egas Moniz and Pardilhó. The program is conducted in different dates in the four schools where they are dynamized and includes activities such as: creative dance, musical expression, cinema, yoga children, visits to the March fair, traditional games, among others.
AAAF are intended for children who attend the preschool education plants from the public network of the Municipality of Estorreja. They are optional and aim to meet the needs of education guardians, depending on their professional or other commitments previously declared and demonstrated.
In academic interruptions and for the periods not expected in the school calendar, the service is available only for children to participate regularly in the service.
The AAAF opens from Monday to Friday, except on vacation and tolerances of the points, from 1 September 2024 to 15 August 2025. In the school period there are the following times: reception (7h30-9h00), lunch (time set by teaching institutes) and extension of the time (15h15-18h30). In academic interruptions and periods not expected in the school calendar it works from 7:30 to 18:30.
The value of the reimbursement is monthly and fixed for a period from 11 months-September to July (August is free) and calculated on the basis of the per capita income levels, indexed to the minimum monthly income (RMM), eating the following values according to the social leaders: € 1-25; 2 € 40; 3 € 55 and from the 4th level: 70 €.
Last year 159 children participated. This year there is a climb on the number of subscribers, which gives the response program to 210 children during the Easter holidays.
