The police said that people arrested were identified as Vivekananda Mishra (64) and Abhay Kumar Jha alias Sonu (29) have been identified. The husband of the woman Ashish Kumar (45) is on the run.

By giving information on the case, the police source said that Anju aka Anjali (35) lived in Delhi with his husband. A few days ago he saw the three people in a questionable position, after which he left home and went to his parents’ house in Ludhiana, in Punjab. According to sources, Ashish went to Ludhiana on March 21 and brought Anju back to Delhi, on March 23, the three people killed Anju and put the body inside a bed in the Mishra apartment and fled to Jaipur, where they remained at Jha’s house.

The accused fled Jaipur

Sources said that the analysis of “Call Detail Record” confirmed that the three accused had gone to Jaipur together on March 23. Mishra returned to Delhi the next day, while Abhay and Ashish moved to Bihar. Sources said that the three people were looking for ways to hide the corpse, when Vivek Vihar’s police station received a PCR call in relation to the smell of DDA Flat in Satyam Enclave on March 28th.

Prahant Gautam, police deputy commissioner (Shahdara), said: “Upon reaching, the police discovered that the house was closed from the outside and there were signs of blood near the door on the back”. He said that after entering the apartment, he was wrapped in the anju blanket and found the body held inside the bed in a bag. A high police officer said the police immediately discovered the owner of the Mishra house and arrested him from the Surajmal park to Anand Vihar, who was trying to escape.

During the interrogation, Mishra revealed the involvement of Jha and the husband of Anju Ashish, a supaul pilot in the Bihar. Mishra told the police that Jha came to Delhi on March 28 to help him hide the corpse and remained in a hotel in Paharganj. However, after knowing Mishra arrest, he climbed aboard the Magadh Express in an attempt to escape from the Bihar, but was captured at the Aligarh railway station with the help of the Government Railway Police (GRP).
