The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in cooperation with the promotion of tourism and the great municipality of Amman, launched the activities of the Eid Al -Fitr blessed in the Roman track, in a distinctive festive atmosphere and a large crowd of mass, with which the stands and squares of Hashhemite were filled with participants.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Professor Dr. Fadi Balawi, explained that the organization of Aid al-Fitr activities is within the framework of the vision of the ministry to make tourism a cultural and societal crane, in addition to its economic role. He added that these activities contribute to the revitalization of the internal tourism movement and to improve the presence of archaeological and historical sites as pulsed centers with culture and art.

Balawi underlined the symbolic and historical importance of choosing the Roman track as a site for the creation of events, because it is one of the most important monuments of the capital, Amman, and embodies the heritage and cultural diversity of the city, which links the past and the present in a festive framework that reflects visitors.

The first day of the events experienced a large interaction of the public, which flocked since night hours, because the performances varied between the national and popular paragraphs of song and heritage and artistic, in addition to the activities designated for children.

The artist Saad Abu Taaya, the Al -lawzayin group, and Hamdi Al -Manasir, presented a set of national songs that glorify Jordan and Hashhemite leadership, and songs that express their solidarity with Palestine, in addition to heritage and popular links that have won the approval of the public.

The Al -Badia Knights group also presented artistic shows that embody the Jordanian Bedouin heritage, while the artist Bakr al -harras gave an atmosphere of joy and laughter through the comic “cocktail” room, with which the public interacting remarkably.

The event saw paragraphs dedicated to children who included light shows, music and entertainment and interactive games, which has helped to add an atmosphere of joy and pleasure to the faces of young people.

The events continue today, Wednesday, April 2, with artistic performances according to which the artist Hussein Al -salman, Rami Shafaf and Raghad Al -Hijazi, in addition to a play by the artist Hussein Tabishat (Uncle Ghaffir), and a recreational paragraph for children.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities calls on citizens to attend these free activities, which take place in a heritage and cultural atmosphere in one of the oldest historic sites in the capital, Amman.
