The port of Aveiro was present, for the fifth year, at the intermodal South America, one of the largest logistics events, transport of goods and foreign trade in South America, which took place between 22 and 24 April, in San Paolo, in Brazil.

The participation of Porto De Aveiro was part of the joint stand of Portugal ports, coordinated by the association of the Portugal port apps, to which the ports of Leixir, Lisbon, Setúbal and Sines was also located.
This presence reflects the international promotion of the national port sector, reflecting a cooperation and synergies strategy among the main actors of the Portuguese maritime logistics chain.
Several commercial partners in the sector also participated in the National Entourage, namely the Ete group, Fernando Coelho Dispatchers, Ocean, Santos and Yilport Iberia Portline, underlining the collaborative spirit and the integrated response of the Portuguese port ecosystem.
On April 23, there was an exclusive event of commercial networks at the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in San Paolo, with the support of Aicep Portugal Global and the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Brazil. This action allowed the port of Aveiro to strengthen commercial and institutional relations with Brazilian partners, promote their values and establish new strategic partnerships in a market with great potential.
It should be noted that Brazil currently represents about 10% of the total load movement of the port of Aveiro, with particular relevance for the segments of Madeira and Agro products.
Participation in the intermodal South America 2025 strengthens Porto de Aveiro’s commitment for the internationalization and consolidation of strategic connections with international markets, in particular in South America.
