Christina Pedra recalled that the event was designed from the beginning of the mandate as a way to enhance culture in Funchal, which enhances its role as a “engine for social, economic and human development.”
With the presence of the Minister of Culture, Dalila Rodrigues, it will last every two years, with the opening of another “communication” exhibition today, which brings together 180 artifacts, at the Queena Magnolia Cultural Center, and the continuation of a program that will travel all the Diocese of the province, with the aim of involving the entire city, its employees and visitors.
Christina Pedra thanked all the two participants in the two -year contract, who, with her commitment, contributed to this event, highlighting the contribution of coordinator Francisco Varia Bolino, coordinator Susanna Gonzaga and designer of Madirin Nini Andradi.
The head of the Funchuele has reiterated the commitment of the current executive authority of culture. In 2025, 3.5 million euros were allocated from the municipal budget for this sector.
