After the success of the first version, the Appliance Aeg brand launches the second edition of the kitchen design competition.
It is a digital competition that aims to choose the best cooking projects and is intended for professionals (active) and students associated with kitchen design, interior design and equipment.
The goal is to give the voice and value of national talents in the design world. This initiative aims to reward the most sustainable and innovative project that combines the design of jobs.

What is the AEG kitchen design competition?
It is a digital competition, which is already present in its second edition, dedicated to professionals and students associated with kitchen design, interior design and hardware and aims to give the voice and value of national talents in the design world. What is AEG’s goal with this challenge?
For AEG, it is extremely important to support talent and encourage creativity, while highlighting our commitment and main values: design, innovation, jobs and sustainability. Certainly, we are counting on another issuance full of excellent projects and starting from the beginning with a jury of excellence, which we thank participating in this project.
Who are the elements of this jury?
Anna Antons, who, in addition to the ambassador of the competition, will participate as a member of the jury (standards design), who joins the assistant architect of António de Sousa Coutinho (innovation standard), Anna Westerlong (standard function).
What kind of projects do you expect to receive?
With this competition, AEG aims to emphasize the importance of the kitchen in consumer homes, as well as adherence to environmental sponsorship. In this context, the participants must provide original and unique projects that reflect a new concept of the kitchen, as AEG devices play a leading role, thanks to the headquarters of innovation, jobs, sustainability and design.
- What are the stages of the competition and where can the interested parties get more information?
The first stage is currently, from the online recordings and will end on April 30. In the second stage, there will be a pre -selection process of 20 projects that will take place from 1, 2025 to May 8, 2025. From May 9 to June 7, this will be the third stage in which we will give the opportunity to vote online in projects similar to June 8 to June 14. The award ceremony (the fifth stage) is expected to take place in the second half of June no longer confirmed.
- How many winners will be determined in each category and what are the AEG Challenge Awards?
From the professional category, three winners will be issued, chosen from among the five final candidates elected by the public voting online for this category. The first winner will get a trip to Stockholm for two people (including two back and forth trip on a back and forth trip in a joint room in a joint room), with a directed tour at the headquarters of the Electrolux collection, as well as AEG, with a maximum of 1000 euros. The second winner will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop in the flavors) with a maximum of people at the AEG headquarters in Portugal. It also gets AEG, with a maximum of 1000 euros.
