National shame
We got to the weekend on Easter and most emergency situations, from Grand Lisbon, closed to pregnant women and children. A normal citizen looks at this and he is a shame for others. Because it is possible for the southern half of the country to live for years, with this lack of doctors in emergency situations, when everything extends the north without major problems. One wonders whether hospital directors to the north differ from those in the south. If doctors and northern nurses are more workers than the south, etc. I was a doctorate at the hospital center in the Greater Porto and this situation was unimaginable. Where is the problem then? Did he leave the private south to healthy professionals and left nothing to the public sector? But in the north, there are also dozens of private hospitals and this situation does not happen! There are more population in the south, but there is also more health professionals and this cannot be the solution. I thank God for living in the Metropolitan area in Porto, where I have many possible options and shyness with what is going on in the south of the country.
