Actor Leonardo DiCaprio will come to Billim, in November, to participate in a project that focuses on youth and climate justice, developed by the Coofim Institute. This initiative aims to expand the participation of civil society in international discussions on the climate crisis, especially during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which will be its headquarters in the capital of Barra.
According to Carla Giovana Braga, the Coofim Institute Foundation, the presence of the actor is linked to this effort to clarify the various voices of civil society. “It will come in November to participate in a project for our goal is to vent the needs of civil society, especially young people, for the international debate about the climate and how these dialogues with our future,” explained exclusively.

The actor will be shared during the police period, an event that will bring together leaders from all over the world to discuss solutions against climate emergencies. Carla emphasizes that the expression of international names is the result of the continuous work of Cojovem. “We are young international leaders and build this relationship from locals to the world throughout our paths.
