The Israeli army announced, at dawn Tuesday, to have launched an aerial strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting a component to Hezbollah, in the second shot of its kind aimed at the Roccaforte of the party from the ceased the fire between it and the Jewish state in November.
The Israeli army declared, in a joint declaration with the internal security service (The Shin Bet), that “the raid has targeted a recent Hezbollah component, which recently led the members of the Hamas movement (Palestinian) and helped them to plan an important and suspicious terrorist attack against the Israel civilians”.
The declaration added that “due to the direct threat that this terrorist was formed, the army and the bet shin moved to liquidate and remove the threat”, without revealing the identity of the person who targeted the raid.
In turn, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 3 people were killed following the Israeli Raid on a building in the southern suburb. The Ministry declared, in a declaration, that “the raid of the Israeli enemy on the southern suburbs led to an updated result for the fall of three martyrs and the injury of seven people”.
This Raid comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned, last week, that his army “will hit Libano everywhere against any threat”.
This is the second Israeli raid that aims to southern suburb of Beirut, the Roccaforte of Hezbollah, since the ceased between the Jewish state and the party entered November 27. The first raid took place, on Friday, and targeted a building that Israel said that Hezbollah is using it to “archive”.
This raid arrived at that moment in response to two missiles fired from the southern Lebanon on Israel, in a process that no part adopted and “Hezbollah” denied his responsibility.
Following this raid, the general secretary of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, confirmed that his party cannot accept that Israel would bomb the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital.
Qasim said that day: “We cannot accept that there is an equation in which Israel is allowed to allow Lebanon, and will be emptied and deleted at any time, and we look at it. Everything has an end.”
Despite the agreement of the fire, Israel continues to launch Raid on the southern and eastern Lebanon and claims that he is hitting military goals for Hezbollah.
Israel also accuses the Lebanese state of not implementing its share of the agreement and dismantling the military arsenal and removing it from its borders.
The ceased agreement has entered into the withdrawal of the Israeli army from all areas that entered during the war, but the Jewish state has maintained its strength in five strategic heights that authorize it to supervise large areas on both sides of the border.
