The incident took place after the recent events in RGIA. On January 4, 2025, Indigo’s flight from Mumbai to Visakhapatnam was transferred to Shamshabad. The plane landed safely and 144 passengers were balanced without injuries.
Previously, on September 24, 2024, an Air India flight from Hyderabad to Trupati had to land in an emergency due to the engine problem. The ATR-72-600 plane returned to Shamshabad and reported that all passengers were safe.
In another incident, passengers on the flight of Akasa Airlines to Delhi on July 22, 2024 expressed their disappointment for the airline and airline staff. The plane, which was scheduled to go at 5:00 am, was still delayed, which resulted in disputes between passengers and airlines.
