ASHARQ AL -AWSAT wins the Arab Journalism Prize for the category of investigations

The Al -Sharq documentary channel won the prize for the best documentary work for the film “Under The Rubble”, and Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, president of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, delivered the prize to the director of the canal, Mohammed al -yosi.
The film highlights the influential human stories that came out of the rubble of the war in Gaza and provides a painful and profound visual treatment for the reality of people who faced difficult conditions during one of the most complex periods in the history of the region. The film was widely appreciated by criticism and the public, due to its sincere human sense and a bold proposal that affects reality without beauty.
After receiving the prize, al -yosi said: “This estimate is a testimony of the strength of the documentary narrative when it is sincerely and boldly narrated. The film reflects the commitment of the East documentary to highlight human stories that are often narrated by incomplete corners.
