EPFO Recruitment Drive: EPFO organized the 15th employment fair, appointment letters distributed to young people

EPFO Recruitment drive April 2025: The organization of the Provident (EPFO) fund participated in the 15th employment fair on Saturday 20 April 2025 and delivered appointment to 976 new employees. The event took place simultaneously in 47 places in India, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned to young people through videoconferences.
51,000 young people have had new opportunities
Through this Fair of Labor, over 51,000 young people throughout the country have been provided for appointment in various departments of the central government. This is another strong step towards the policy of regular hiring and the youthful Empowerment of the Central Government.
EPFO filled 976 posts
On this occasion Epfo has recruited a total of 976 places in its organization. This includes 345 accounting managers/responsible for law enforcement and 631 social security assistant. With these new appointments, EPFO aims to guarantee an efficient and effective delivery of social security services to millions of customers throughout the country.
Improvement of the appointment system
The Ministry of Labor and Employment stated that the EPFO has established the recruitment cell at the headquarters, so that the assumption process can be performed without hitches and punctual. According to the instructions of the Minister of the Union Mansukh Mandavia, a recruitment calendar was also prepared in order to guarantee transparent and regular appointments in the next period.
Last year’s appointments
In 2024 EPFO also recruited various positions, including:-
- 159 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC)
- 84 Junior Translation Officer (JTO)
- 28 Stenographer (Stenographer)
These hires have increased the organization’s service capacity.

The Ministry has also clarified that in the future more appointments will be taken and the Epfo network will be even stronger.
