Euronews launches news in the Polish language with a ceremony in Warsaw

Euronews has celebrated the launch of its service in Polish, the latest addition to the main multilingual news platform in Europe.
With the commitment to provide odd and reliable news, Euronews Poland has begun to offer the Polish public an essential coverage of global events and the main stories that shape the world.
On Thursday, an event that coincides with the Polish Presidency of the European Union.
Euronews declared that this was a unique moment to reflect on the role of Warsaw in the construction of the future of Europe and its contributions to a continent attached to a vision of the future.
With its presidency, Poland has the task of guiding the work of the EU council and representing all Member States in negotiations with other EU institutions.
The presidency is rotating among the 27 EU member states every six months, and Hungary has finished its mandate in December.
Last month, the Board of Directors of Euronews, Pedro Vargas David, said that Euronews is currently “the largest established press room covered by European issues.”
Vargas David announced the continuous growth of the channel with the inauguration of the new Polish service on television and digital platforms of Warsaw.
It is expected that this year will be launched from about four Euronews franchise channels, the first two scheduled for Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.
