Go to the unknown

“Idris”, a pseudonym of one of the workers of the “Bajil” factory in Hodeidah, is afraid of ignoring a deliberate Houthi who can prolong its duration in the next few days as regards the total destruction of the factory and the group overlooking any real steps to resolve the workers’ crisis.

In his conversation with Asharq al -awsat, the worker feared greater deterioration in the life of his family, in light of the continuous job opportunities in decrease and the spread of unemployment in the areas of control of the Houthi group.

And he touched a number of concerns who suffered from employees and workers of the factory and their families due to the spread of the corruption of the leaders of the Houthi group, the transfer of the factory revenues in their personal interest and support the war effort, as well as committing violations spread against them, the last of which was the detention by their financial march, for their financial cars.

The worker said that the departure of the factory from promptness was the result of the Houthi adventure and the escalation against Israel and said: “The last targeting caused serious damage to the factory and thousands of workers and their families who were entirely dependent on it as a source of income”.

Profound sadness

In the same context, the sources that work in the “Imran” cement factory described the recent Israeli strikes such as a “Knockout” due to the remaining ingredients of the local economy which has always been exposed to Houthi who led to his work stop, noting that the Yemeni may need contracts to compensate for that structure.

While the sources expressed their anger and condemns to Hodeidah’s target manufacturers and Amran as one of the most important production pillars of the country, the sources held the leaders of the Houthi group full of responsibility to ask for these strikes against these two structures that were preparing the source of income for thousands of families.

Local relationships had previously estimated the revenue of the “Imran” cement factory (the largest production factories of concrete production in Yemen) with over 8 billion of Riyal Yemeniti per month, while the revenues of the “Bajil” group at a fixed price at about 535 Riyals).
