Hundreds of families in Yemen lose sustenance due to the destruction of Israel two cement factories

Tuesday, Israel launched violent retaliation shots on the “Imran” cement factory (50 km north of Sanaa), Sana’a airport and power plants and one day before having targeted the “Bagel” cement factory and the Hodeidah port in the governor of Coastal Yemeni.

In his conversation with Asharq al -awsat, the worker feared greater deterioration in the life of his family, in light of the continuous job opportunities in decrease and the spread of unemployment in the areas of control of the Houthi group.

And he touched a number of concerns who suffered from employees and workers of the factory and their families due to the spread of the corruption of the leaders of the Houthi group, the transfer of the factory revenues in their personal interest and support the war effort, as well as committing violations spread against them, the last of which was the detention by their financial march, for their financial cars.

The worker said that the departure of the factory from promptness was the result of the Houthi adventure and the escalation against Israel and said: “The last targeting caused serious damage to the factory and thousands of workers and their families who were entirely dependent on it as a source of income”.

The Bagel cement factory is 50 km from the port of Hodeidah, north -east of the city, and was founded in 1984 and more than 850 workers work, while the “Imran concrete factory) is 50 km north of Sanaa; He was founded in 1979 and includes about 1500 workers and over 10,000 families (his family who works in logistical services such as transport and others) indirectly depends on the factory revenues.

Profound sadness

“Saeed”, a pseudonym for the brother of one of the workers who died following the recent Israeli blows on the “Bagel” factory in Hodeidah, expressed his profound pain for the loss of the older sister, who worked administratively in the factory.

Saeed al -houtis asked for their military escalation horses, to carry out their responsibility for repair, pay compensation to the families of the victims and provide treatment costs to workers of wounded factories.

In the same context, the sources that work in the “Imran” cement factory described the recent Israeli strikes such as a “Knockout” due to the remaining ingredients of the local economy which has always been exposed to Houthi who led to his work stop, noting that the Yemeni may need contracts to compensate for that structure.
