Luís Montenegro has already left the hospital after spending a few hours hospitalized.

“It was an episode of a cardiac arrhythmia that affects me a lot when instead,” he explained to journalists when he left the hospital unit where he was hospitalized from the early hours of Friday afternoon.

The prime minister was discharged at 8:40 pm, stopping to speak with journalists and, therefore, “reassures the Portuguese.” Montenegro said “will rest during the weekend” and then resume the normal agenda.

Without giving more details, it will even be a “normal treatment” for the problem you face.

The Portuguese prime minister entered the Santa María Hospital at 13:00, after being sent to Cardiology.

The information was initially advanced to Lusa by the president of the Board of Directors of ULs of Santa María, Carlos Martins.

“Sentably at 1:00 pm, the prime minister entered the hospital and, due to the symptomatology, was aimed at cardiology where he is still hospitalized. But the prognosis is favorable and is expected to be discharged in the next few hours,” he said.

Speaking to RTP, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa declared that Luís Montenegro “is fine” and only needs to rest.

Luís Montenegro fulfilled the scheduled schedule during the morning, attending the meeting with the municipalities involved in the strategic development of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, in Tejo Park.

During the afternoon, two inaugurations were scheduled in Alcobaça, events in which the prime minister was represented by the Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis.
