The Professional Fighters Association has announced the beginning of the second season of the Middle East and the North African Fighters League on May 9, in Jeddah’s Ias Hall, Saudi Arabia.
The second season comes as an extension of the success achieved by the initial version of 2024, where it aims to highlight the regional talents and open new horizons for fighters in the Middle East, providing a professional platform that offers them the opportunity to compete at the highest global levels.
In this context, BFL Mina holds a strategic partnership with the “Jeddah season”, one of the most important recreational and cultural events in the kingdom, with the aim of expanding the scope of the spread of the martial arts position mixed for its own fighter sport.
The city of Jeddah has a complete history of mixed martial arts, as it has hosted the first great event in this sport in 2014. The new season tries to store the fighting scene in the city and attract the most important local and regional combat talents.
The second season will be a distinctive station to celebrate the Saudi fighters, as Malik will participate in Sahl (21-3-1 amateurs), who is preparing for his first battle in the world of professionalism, together with Ahmed Makki, who will take his last professional battle in his career in combat.
On this occasion, Jerome Mazit, general manager of the Professional Fighters League, expressed his happiness at the beginning of the second season, saying: “We are excited to expand the area of the tournament this year, and establish our first event in Jeddah, which is one of the large prominent cities in support of the Arab world.
He added: “The first season has achieved exceptional success, since he contributed to the consolidation of mixed martial arts in the region, not only by organizing strong struggles, but also by building stars that represent the quality and level of sport in the Middle East.
