Electronic production: The meeting of the cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country “authoritative” in the electronic supply chain approved the production regime of electronic components with a financing of RS 22,919 cror. Based on this scheme, it is expected to attract an investment of RS 59,350 crores, produce RS 4.56,500 crores and create direct employment and many indirect jobs for 91,600 people, so that the country can go forward rapidly in electronic production.
What is the purpose of the scheme
The scheme aims to attract large investments in the production ecosystem of electronic components, develop enriches internal prices (Dav) and Indian companies to develop a strong component ecosystem by integrating with global value chains (GVC). According to the cabinet, the duration of the regime is six years and a part of a part of the incentive is associated with the employment objective.

In this scheme, the government will provide different types of incentives for Indian producers for components of different categories and sub-governments, so that they can obtain technological skills and scale. This will strengthen the position of the country as an electronic exporter in the world.
