Sudan announces the beginning of consultations for a global political process
The Sudanese Foreign Minister, Ali Youssef Mohamed, announced on Thursday that consultations have started to launch a global political process, not excluded anyone, to form a government of national skills that guide the country during the transition period whose role must be concentrated in the reconstruction of the country.
Yousef discussed the European Confederation of the African century, Anita Weber, in the temporary administrative capital, Port Sudan, the will of the institutions of the European Union to cooperate with Sudan in a way that contributes to achieving stability and development.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the declaration issued by the European Union, which expressed its refusal to form a parallel government in Sudan and also provided an explanation of the developments of the military situation and the efforts made by the Sudan government to end the war.
The Weber Monitor has affirmed full support of the European Union for a global political process in Sudan without exclusion or discrimination, underlining the passion of the union on the importance of establishing safety and stability in Sudan as an important country in the Horn of Africa.
