The death toll after an attack against Russian missiles to the city of Kryvyi Rih, in the center of Ukraine, increased to 18, including nine children, according to regional authorities.
The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is from Kryvyi Rih, says that the youngest to lose his life in Friday’s attack was only three years old.
At least 72 people were injured, the youngest was a three -month -old baby, in which the authorities say it was a ballistic missile attack. Around half of the people remain in the hospital receiving treatment, 17 of them still in critical condition, according to Regional Governor Serhii Lysak.
“There can be no forgiveness for this,” said Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the City Defense Council.

“The missile hit an area right next to residential buildings, reaching a patio of recreation and normal streets,” Zelenskyy said on his official Telegram channel.
The Russian Ministry of Defense says that it has made a “high precision missile attack” with a highly explosive ojiva head against a restaurant where a meeting with western units and instructors’ commanders was being held.
Kremlin states that the attack killed 85 military and foreign officers and destroyed 20 vehicles used for military purposes. kyiv rejects these statements and accuses Moscow of deliberately civil.

Zelenskyy affirms that Russia’s continuous offensive demonstrates his lack of will to end the war, accusing Russian president Vladimir Putin, of ties and not taking peace seriously about the middle of the efforts of the United States to mediate a truce and put an end to the war that has lasted more than three years.
The Ukrainian leader urged allies to exert more pressure on Moscow to accept a peace agreement. Zelenskyy also appealed to greater support for Ukraine to reinforce aerial defenses, to be better equipped to defend against Russian aerial threats.
Zelenskyy also criticized Washington’s reaction to the attack on his hometown. The United States ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget, Brink, published a publication on social networks on Friday saying he was “horrified” with the attack.
“More than 50 people injured and 16 dead, including 6 children. That’s why the war has to end,” says the publication.
Zelenskyy, who until now has had a tense relationship with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, has reacted to the comments of the ambassador to say that he was “unpleasant surprising” for not appointing Russia as the author of the attack.
