“The moncayo in these dates is hell,” says Ismael González, a forestry agent of the city council of Tarazona, a municipality near this natural park. Both February and March are the months in which there are more fatal accidents, he explained in declarations to the ser. “People think that it is the best time, but Moncayo does not resemble anything in the territory and is very dangerous (…) gives one face and then it is another”, he adds. “The rest of the territory that we see very well and it is not clear that the top is so adverse. But it is, it is a very dangerous mountain,” said González.
