The President of the United States also directed a warning to Iran, saying that his support for the Houthi should be stopped immediately.
The New York Times reported that air and naval attacks have targeted radar, air defenses, missile systems and drones, in an attempt to open the international shipping corridors in the Red Sea. The newspaper mentioned US officials stating that the military operation also aims to “send a warning to Iran … and can continue for several days and could be intensified according to the Houthi reaction”.
