The Minister of the Department of Rural Affairs (RWD), Ashok Chaudhary, in the Bihar government, said that the State government would build 700 new little bridges in rural areas in the next fiscal year. The Minister made this declaration while presenting a budget proposal from RS 11 101.64 RWD crore for the year 2025-2010. The department’s budget for the next financial year has been adopted by the Assembly by the Assembly.

The Minister said: “In 2025-2026, the ministry will build 700 new small bridges in rural areas of the state at the cost of Rs 3,000 crore.” He said that in order to improve rural connectivity within the State, the Bihar government has already launched several rural road development regimes to guarantee access to colonies without contact trajectories.
