Veronica Cordyro, the mother of pearls, was enjoyable in the arrangement of her three -year -old daughter for ballet lessons. For her, it was the time to produce a young child, choose a hairstyle and clothes before taking it to the chapter, a special moment in their routine. Veronica, inspired by her daughter, was inspired by the opportunity to achieve the dream of childhood and registered in the old ballet.
“I kept watching her lessons through the door to see how she is, and she found music, movement, all dancers, the same hair, clothes, and shoes, which she always wanted to do ballet from childhood, but at that time it was not possible,” says Veronica.
“When the opportunity came to enter the adult ballet, I thought: Oh my God, am I going? The ballet is only for those who start as a child. Not, this is an illusion. We can do the ballet at any time in life.” Although dance is usually associated with childhood, practice in adulthood can bring a number of benefits, such as improving muscle strength, body balance, as well as with regard to mental health, as it helps to release hormones such as serotonin, endorphins and dopamine.

Moreover, like her daughter, she also suffers from dyslexia, dyslexia and dyslexia, a condition that the person does not have a clear domination on one side of the body. He says: “I found that the ballet is more than just a chapter, we can start at any stage of life, knowledge and surrender, because it is a new, different and unique adventure.”
By starting dancing in adulthood, it is difficult to get flexibility, understand movements and create awareness of the body, but the task is not impossible. “It is an art that gives you a wide world of music, knowledge of dance, movements, and his love. It is a dance feeling and a new step,” says Veronica.

Body and mind
Ballet works with the breadth of movements and flexibility, which helps to enhance muscles. From this, the position, balance, and motor coordination improve, through specific exercises for each group of the human body, where the upper parts, and less than the internal muscles are among other things.
Jessa also says that she is in the school where she works, some dancers have common and class restrictions, and they have the opportunity to work on muscle groups that find difficulty, and through practices, muscles are strengthened, which avoid future injuries.
“If we have a dancer or the disabled, or those who have more dangerous restrictions, there is no obstacle to him to do the ballet. On the contrary, we talk to every student, we see difficulties and adapting movements and exercises so that he can implement as well.”
In adulthood, it is often necessary to reconcile the study of study, work and entertainment with family life and children, and this is when the ballet can become an escape valve, it works to reduce stress and anxiety. “There are adult dancers who reach the semester happy to fulfill the dream of childhood. In the classroom, there is a complete social upbringing, and we encourage a positive environment, and the ballet brings it to people. The man or the woman can be, and each of them has physical or mental restrictions, we will work every day until it improves and leaves different from how they arrive.”
For the dancer Aymee Oliveira, dance is a shelter in the midst of an intense routine, full of challenges and responsibilities. He says: “At the moment when I enter the classroom, everything that weighs dissolves in the harmony of the movements and the melody that fills the space. Art, music and dance surrounds me in a way that makes me feel lighter and more present.
“In adulthood, we often move away from art, freedom of movement, and the beauty of the present at the present time. But the ballet reminds us that we can still dream, challenge and charm their journey.
