According to the document, the number of positive tests of the influenza increased to 13 percentage points between April 12 and May 17, when it reached 31 % – the largest increase in the country since September 2022, when 42 % of the results indicated the presence of the virus.

Also, according to the institute, the largest positive rates were recorded in the age groups from 5 to 9 years (41 %) and 10 to 19 years (40 %).

Other viruses

With regard to other viruses, ITPS states that the rate of positive results of respiratory respiratory viruses (VSR) has decreased 10 degrees Celsius in the past three weeks.
