At a time when many non -believers and ambiguity said that there were no poets on this island from Madeira, Natalia Korea said: In his exciting way to emphasize some facts, in his strong occurrence, in his vibrant ability to master the Portuguese language, translated into the power of writing and ideas, Natalia Korea knew the extent of carrot loss in the huge and shiny sea. The empire’s map referred to some Atlantic lands away from the mother homeland, and it spoke mysteriously about this existence, but little or nothing was known to those people who were inhabited.
I will not talk about the gift and some windows that were exactly open. I am talking about the recent past from a historical point of view, past fifty years when Madeira poets were saying that yes, there is, continuing to hear his voice, to celebrate the existence of thinking until the earth flourishes in the soul, so that one knows his soul and nature.
There were some books of people in the field of entrepreneurship, and the young rulers in the good sense of dream builders from the supreme ideals, new knowledge and awareness. The first of this series appeared in 1975 and simply called the island. Before there was already an attempt for some young people who have publicly brought in the newspapers their first consideration, due to the time of time. In his resentment of his geographical condition, this island meant above all “people”. People for those who were not present strongholds or borders and threw themselves in the world through their free expression and primitive hair, “Life always comes out of water, the marine mother”, continued to say Natalia Korea. These words were written before it to enter the second book, Island 2, in 1979. Six poets gathered from the Hamas of the difficult poet Jose Antonio Gonelsvis, and they form this second work and others follow that we will continue to talk about the following records.
The intention of this text is to achieve new knowledge that, despite the many many, there have always been poets on the island, few or many, we do not add people, we only mention that the island has a spirit that reveals itself in writing those who live and work here, and many sought to get out of the ground more fertile to start the seed. Those who stayed here did not fail slowly, but stubbornly. This is that the Chronicle today intends to evoke this year 2025, when we want to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Al -Jazeera movement.
However, there are names. The real poets in the five groups that have been published over the years since 1975. ILAND 2 in 1979. Recently, the memory of this stage of literary activity in Madeira, which originated from the university, through Professor Terry Brunsa Dos Santos, who was accompanied by a group of coordinators, the desire to move forward, and bring readers, in a new coordination and a wider range, the work of two of the work wandering in its twenty population -highlighting its texts individually.
