Government Minister, government’s official spokesperson, Dr. Mohamed Al -Momani said Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan has ordered a series of meetings between ministers and parliamentary blocks.

Al -Momani added during an interview on the Kingdom Channel last night, Saturday, Saturday, that these meetings aim to discuss questions raised on the political, economic and social scene, and to improve cooperation between the government and the Parliament; To find effective solutions to current challenges.


He indicated that the government had organized fruitful meetings with the Islamic Action Party Bloc, and the National Party of the Party Bloc to the Prime Minister, and these meetings were characterized by an atmosphere of cooperation and a constructive dialogue, because most of the concerns for the country and the citizen were dealt with.


He stressed that the government plans to hold meetings with the rest of the parliamentary blocks, and these meetings will focus on the discussion of the problems and challenges that the country is faced while seeking to find effective solutions that contribute to the realization of sustainable development in Jordan.


He explained that the requirements of parliamentary blocks were focused in particular on public policies related to economic, tourist and water files, noting that these questions are considered one of the priorities that the government seeks to seriously resolve; Due to its importance in promoting growth and sustainable development in Jordan.


Al -Momani said that the government considers dialogue with all parliamentary blocks a question of importance to improve understanding and cooperation to solve urgent problems, because these meetings aim to develop clear strategies that meet the needs of citizens and help improve the quality of their lives.


He stressed that the government has committed to involving all political forces in drawing public policies and development trends, believing that cooperation and consultation are the best way to build a prosperous future for Jordanians.


Al -Momani said that the government sought to institutionalize the relationship between executive and legislative authorities, with the aim of improving joint work and effective cooperation between them, stressing that this stage presents itself within the framework of the government’s vision to build an institutional approach which guarantees the integration of efforts between the two parties, which contributes to achieving the national objectives.


He explained that the institutionalization of this relationship would improve the ability of the government and the Parliament to meet current challenges, and to provide an appropriate legislative environment to support development and provide basic services to citizens, pointing to the importance of continuous dialogue and the exchange of visions between the two authorities to ensure that the needs and aspirations of society are satisfied.


With regard to the dissolution of municipal councils, Al -Momani stressed that there is not yet a decision concerning the dissolution of municipal councils, noting that the government continues to conduct dialogues and discussions on amendments to the laws of local administration.


He stressed that dialogue is still underway with the authorities and competent experts before offering legal modifications linked to the next municipal elections, explaining that the government seeks to ensure that the modifications are applicable and take into account the interests of all the parties concerned.


Al -Momani stressed that the objective of these dialogues is to achieve a legal formula that meets the real needs of local communities and to improve participatory democracy and transparency in the electoral process.


He explained that these modifications aimed to improve the efficiency of municipal work and to improve the role of local councils in satisfying the needs of local communities.
