The drug “Osmbeck”, famous for its effectiveness in weight loss, continues to attract the interest of researchers with growing studies on its potential side effects.

In a new development, a scientific study has confirmed that “Ozmbek” can lead to hair loss as an unexpected side effect, which improves the validity of previous reports published by users.

The “Daily Mail” website first revealed this phenomenon at the beginning of 2023, when user video clips appearing as a mass of hair falling into the ponds propagate. Now the recent study has proven the validity of these allegations.

Researchers at the University of British Columbia have analyzed data of around 3000 Americans who used the active ingredient in “Ozmbeck” and “Wigofi”-or “Poprophyon-Nallexon” (1348 patients with average weight loss), known commercial under the name of “Couchou”, which is an average weight loss.
Some patients suffer from other health problems that can affect hair growth, such as hypothyroidism and depression.

The results have shown that “Simide” users were 52% more likely to lose hair compared to the other group, while the risk of hair loss in women who took this medication doubled.

Although the percentage of patients who have declared hair loss is still relatively low, as it has not exceeded 1%, researchers attribute this to rapid weight loss caused by the drug – which can reach one kilogram per week – which exposes the body to a serious pressure which leads to the hair growth cycle disorder.

Researchers have pointed out that rapid weight loss may not be the only cause, as a lack of nutrients can cause low appetite, nausea and vomiting – which are common side effects from the drug – to exacerbate the problem.

Meanwhile, the company “Novo Nordisk”, manufactured for “Ozmbeek”, confirmed in an official declaration according to which it was always confident of the balance of the advantages and risks associated with its use when it adheres to medical directives.

It should be noted that hair loss is not the only side effect of “similar”, because it was previously linked to symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea and stomach pain. Other studies have also shown that similar drug loss, such as “Terzopatide” (sold under the name of Mujaro), can cause rapid weight loss and its unexpected side effects. Daily mail
