Asaram Bapu, who was serving a life sentence in the case of sexual harassment, received a major setback. Asaram Bapu’s provisional deposit was heard on Wednesday before the High Court of Jodhpur. However, he has received no relief in this area. The next hearing will take place on April 7 in this case. The case was heard in the bench of judge Dinesh Mehta of the High Court of Jodhpur and Judge Vineet Kumar Mathur.
The court clearly indicated in his order that Asaram had preached, which certainly violates the conditions imposed by the Supreme Court. In this regard, the court asked the Asaram lawyer for a lawyer to prove that the conditions of the Supreme Court have not been raped.
Asaram defender Yashpal Singh Rajpurohit told the news agency that the provisional guarantee of Asaram Bapu had been heard before the high court of Rajasthan. Earlier, we had applied for extension of the provisional surety period before the High Court of Gujarat, which was accepted by the court and we had a three -month expansion.

It should be noted that in August 2013, a 16 -year -old girl accused Asaram of having sexually assaulted her in her ashram near Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The victim’s parents filed a complaint, due to which Asaram was arrested on August 31, 2013. Subsequently, in April 2018, a Jodhpur court condemned Asaram for the rape of a minor, and sentenced him to perpetuity detention under various sections of the justice law.

In October 2013, other allegations were reported when a woman from Surat, a former disciple, accused asram of sexual harassment repeated between 2001 and 2006 to her Ashram in Motra, Ahmedabad. This was followed by another legal case, which ended in January 2023 when a Gandhinagar court sentenced Asaram for rape, which was his second sentence on such allegations. In addition to these punishment, Asaram’s son Narayan Sai also faced similar allegations. In 2013, two Surat sisters allegedly alleged that Asaram and Narayan had sexually assaulted them in the middle of the 2000. The older sister accused Asaram, while the younger sister accused Narayan of attacks to Surat Ashram between 2002 and 2005.
