In the midst of increasing tension in India and Pakistan, the holidays of all employees working in the Chanda prescription factory in the Chandrapur district, in the Maharashtra, and the prescription factory in the Jabalpur district, Madhya Pradesh, were canceled with immediate effect. A circular issued by Ordnce Factory Chanda stipulates that this order was made under the instructions of the President of Munisans India Limited (MIL) and Director General.
In order to return to work immediately
The circular indicates that all types of holidays are canceled and it is compulsory for all employees to present themselves in service without any delay.
The order indicates: “All employees will have to present themselves in service without missing and ensure an appearance and an uninterrupted contribution to national requirements during this important period.” It has also been specified in the circular that the exemption will only be given in extremely necessary circumstances.
Jabalpur Ordinance Factory said this reason
While more than two days of officers and employees of the prescription factory, Khamaria (OFK) in Jabalpur were also canceled on Friday. Ofk Pro Avinash Shankar, while talking to PTI on the phone, confirmed this information.
He said: “Our goal in this exercise is very important and we have not been able to produce targeted production in April. To compensate for this situation, instructions were received from the headquarters to cancel the holidays so that we can ensure adequate workforce and supervision.”
Ofk is employed in around 4,000 employees and is one of the largest units in Munisans India Limited (MIL), which provides ammunition to the Indian armed forces. The factory produces cannon shells, bombs, rockets and other defense materials.

According to experts, these preparations are considered important to maintain the country’s defense production chain and face any occasional situation. The constant presence of employees has been made compulsory to achieve production objectives and ensure a timely delivery.
