The ministry explained that the fire had gone to the administrative headquarters of medical licenses and an administrative room attached to the central laboratory building, where civil protection was able to extinguish the fire before its extension to the central laboratory building and special medical devices inside.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health and the Population, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, confirmed that the Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar directly follows the repercussions of the fire and not, confirming that ten ambulances were pushed on the accident site and are followed.

The Egyptian media reported that the enormous fire inside the central laboratories spread through the elevator well on the top floor, which led to the arrival of the fire to the neighboring medical licenses, where it affected part of the first floor.

The fire that broke out at the rear also extended to the metro management building at a Storey.

Sources of security have indicated that the chemicals of the building quickly contributed to the spread of fire, which increased the complexity of the situation, while the civil protection forces of the Cairo security management managed to control the fire and to prevent its extension to neighboring buildings.

Security sources have said that “the civil protection forces managed by 20 fire trucks to surround and control fires”.

A team from the accusation and the criminal laboratory moved to inspect the site of the fire building of the central laboratory of the Ministry of Health in the center of the country to reveal the resulting losses and determine the reasons, which led to the trigger of the fire inside the building.
