According to information provided on the official website of the Supreme Court, judge Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai was born on November 24, 1960 in Amravati, Maharashtra. Apart from that, he continued to appear regularly in court for autonomous organizations such as SICOM, DCVL and the municipal councils of the Vidarbha region. From August 1992 to July 1993, he was appointed deputy public prosecutor and additional prosecutor to Nagpur Peeth. Later, on January 17, 2000, he was appointed lawyer and government prosecutor.

Additional judge of the High Court of Bombay made in 2003

On November 14, 2003, he became an additional judge of the High Court of Bombay and was promoted to a permanent judge on November 12, 2005.
