Who was the accused

The court has abolished the investigation into money laundering filed against the former organizing chief of the Commonwealth Games (OC), Suresh Kalmadi, Secretary General Lalit Bhanot and other accused. That the court said

The court said that during the investigation, the accusation had not established a crime under Article 3 of the PMLA. Despite a prudent urgency survey, no offense was established under article 3 of the PMLA. The court declared that there was therefore no reason to continue the current ecir, consequently, the closing report submitted by the emergency is accepted.

CBI also closed the case

The CBI had allegedly alleged that the organizing committee had lost 30 crores due to the illegal allocation of two important contracts for the Commonwealth Games. However, the CBI filed a closing report in the case in January 2014, declaring that no reprehensible evidence was released and that allegations could not be proven.
