PIX operations by the approach are now available in all about 270,000 SICDI card machines (POS), cooperative financial institution. In parallel, Sicred also provides smartphone partners for Android, PIX Payment Jobs with Google Pay Digital, without having to access the Sicredi app.
The news is the result of the development of open financing that provides the trip without re -guidance through which it is possible to interact between two applications, such as the Sicredi and Google Pay app.

The technology used in approximation payments is the nearby field connection (NFC), which provides a strong protection layer and relief mechanisms. According to the data of the Brazilian Association of Credit and Services Cards (ABECS), in September 2024, the amount of purchase of cards and other approaches reached 65 % of the face payments.
Andrea Septere, Skredy’s business advisor, confirms that the process is simple and fast. The expert says: “By approach, Pix improves the payment experience, and not having to open the application of the financial institution. Most importantly, this function reduces the risk of fraud related to fake QR codes and malicious links,” the expert says. She adds that the system is expected to be expanded to include other platforms in the future, according to the Central Bank.
