A viral video forced the India electoral commission to take immediate measures. In this clip, which became viral on Wednesday morning, a person, whose name is called Osama, says that he has lived in India since 2008. He has an Aadhaar card, an identity card and also voted in the Indian elections, while he also has a Pakistani passport.
Once the video has become viral, the electoral commission ordered the electoral director of Jammu-et-Cachemire to investigate the issue and take the necessary measures. It was recommended to publish a notice of justification for the electoral registration officer concerned (ERO).
Only Indian citizens can register for voters
