Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Case: The High Court of Allahabad postponed the hearing on Tuesday in the Krishna Janmabho-Shahi Idgah case in Mathura and set the following date on May 23, 2025. The case was heard by judge Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra. Today, when the hearing in this case began, the Muslim team asked for time to file an additional-affidavit counter against the revised request in numbers 1 and 16.

The court was informed that the Muslim part had deposited requests before the Supreme Court against various orders which are underway and that the hearing in the case should be postponed until any ordinance is adopted by the Supreme Court. The Hindu side has opposed it. However, the court set the next hearing date on May 23. It should be noted that the Hindu side has filed 18 cases for having taken possession of the land and restoring the temple there after having removed the royal structure of IDGah. Earlier, on August 1, 2024, the High Court of Allahabad rejected the request of the Muslim part contesting the nutrition (audible) of these cases filed by the Hindu parties. The court had declared in its order that these cases are not interrupted by the time limit, the Waqf law and the law of 1991 on the place of worship. The law on the adoration site prevents any religious structure present on August 15, 1947 from changing it.
