Lady Gaga enchants the Mexican public with a message in Spanish

Lady Gaga made a triumphant return to Mexico this weekend, exciting more than 61,000 fans each evening at GNP SEGUROS stadium With a theatrical show and sincere messages delivered in Spanish.

The Superstar Pop, in Mexico for the first time in 13 years, launched its “¡Viva la Mayhem!” Tour with Saturdays and Sunday evening shows that mixed its greatest successes, its new equipment and its elaborate staging.

Opening the first part of a spectacle of five chapters, Gaga was supported by a monumental scene structure which recalls a decomposing neo-Baroque opera, in accordance with the spirit of “Mayhem”, its eighth and last album and the impulse for its new world tour.

In a red dress that turned into a cage, Gaga spoke to the public “in perfect Spanish”, according to the digital source Infobae, launching into “Bloody Mary” and “Abracadabra” while the dancers emerged around her.

“To all my beautiful little monsters, this evening, it is an honor for me to be here in this beautiful country for you,” said Gaga in Spanish, pulling a thunderous ovation from his “little monsters” (her unconditional fans) while she waved the Mexican flag. “I worked hard on stage this evening to show you how much I admire and I respect you … I’m happy to be back after 13 years.”

The concert included nearly 30 dancers, moving platforms and a setlist of 28 songs.

You are a “test” at The Coachella festival earlier this month, The staging presented a story of Gaga’s internal struggle between light and darkness. In a chapter, it is lying on the ground on a sandy tomb and interacts with the skeletons, before being renamed like a kind of angel monster.

She interpreted classics such as “Poker Face”, “Born This Way” and “Bad Romance”, as well as new pieces of “Mayhem”. She made her debut “Blade of Grass”, a song dedicated to her fiancé, Michael Polansky, and delivered an interpretation of an emotional piano of “Shallow”.

“Mexico is a special place in my heart because that’s where I finished my first stadium tour,” said Gaga. “I’m proud to share this moment with you, only this time, it’s not the end, but the beginning.”

Adding to excitement, Pop Star Katy Perry attended the Sunday Night Show. Perry was in Mexico City for his own tour, which included three dates in Mexico City Arena and has since moved to Monterrey Arena for two shows.

Perry congratulated Gaga on Instagram, writing: “The show was Magnifica! … If proud of you and grateful to grow up together @ladygaga I love you.”
