American president Donald Trump said on Friday that the war in Ukraine took us to a third world war which is unrivaled due to nuclear weapons.
In a statement, Trump confirmed that Ukraine accepted a cease-fire as he tries to persuade Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I think we are doing well with Russia to end the war in Ukraine. We are talking to President Putin and we want to end the war in Ukraine,” added Trump.
He continued: “We are now looking for approval by the ceasefire by Russia, and we have led very good discussions on this issue. It is not easy to work to end the Ukraine war, but I think we are succeeding.”
Trump blamed former President Joe Biden, saying: “Biden authorized the war in Ukraine and we are working on a cease-fire agreement.
This happens at a time when Ukrainian President Folomir Zellinski said Russia is now looking for various pretexts to avoid putting an end to war, pressure and partner unity with two guys to change this.
