If this bill is adopted, hundreds of mosques, idgahs, madrasas, cemetery and many charitable institutions will be removed from us. Consequently, it is the responsibility of each Muslim of the country to strongly oppose this bill. The personal law council of Muslims of the All India calls on all Muslims to link a black bandage as a silent and peaceful expression of mourning and protest while coming to the mosque on Zuma -ul -Lwise.

The WAQF (Amendment) bill, 2024, aims to resolve major challenges by introducing reforms such as digitization, better audit, better transparency and legal mechanisms to regain illegally occupied assets.
