Airbnb revealed that Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, is the best rated vacation rental destination in Mexico, based on the guest notes from 2024.
Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, is located on the northern shores of the Gulf of California in the state of Sonora. Due to its proximity to Arizona, the sunny destination is popular among American travelers, which earned it the nickname “Arizona’s Beach”.
“Whatever you want to call this enclave of the desert on the Cortez Sea, its six beaches, its rocky swimming pools and its Sonoran sun have made it one of the seaside escapades with the fastest growth in northern Mexico”, ” Airbnb said in its report.
With an average score of 4.83 out of 5 stars, the hosts of Puerto Peñasco won the first position thanks to their kindness and their personalized attention.
