Congress chief Rahul Gandhi targeted the government of the BJP on Thursday for the alleged rape of an 11 -year -old dalit girl in the Uttar Pradesh and asked for a strict action against the culprit. He declared in an article written in Hindi from his handle X (East Twitter) that such crimes are constantly occurring in the state due to the anti-dalit and anti-female mentality of the BJP.
The silent girl disappeared on Tuesday and found the next morning in a field. He had bleeding from the genitals and there were marks of bite on the body. The girl is under treatment in the hospital and her condition would be critical. He wrote: “Cruelty and cruelty with an 11 -year -old dalit girl in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, is very embarrassing and shocking. Such UP crimes prove that the dalits and in particular girls are completely underlined by the government of the BJP.
He also said: “It is the result of the BJP anti-dalit and anti-female mentality that criminals are intrepid of law and order and that the victims are helpless! After all, how long the girls of the Uttar Pradesh will continue to become the prey of such humanity. The head of the opposition in LOK Sabha said: “There is a simple request from our administration – to take strict measures against the culprit and to give quick justice to the victim and to his family.” Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh police arrested a 24 -year -old man on Thursday within 24 hours of the incident.
When the police started investigating the case in video surveillance, a young man named Dan Singh seemed to transport the girl with him. On the instructions of Rampur SP Vidyasagar Mishra, three special teams were trained and a research operation was launched in the region. The accused was arrested. The officials said that Dan Singh had been caught on Wednesday evening after a brief meeting with the police, in which he was injured. Rampur S said that the accused is a resident of the village of Kharsol.
He said, “When the girl left the house, the accused seduced her and took her with her and raped the victim. The girl has suffered serious injuries. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police began new measures, strict measures will be taken against the accused. Police have electronic evidence and video surveillance images available in this regard.
