The rains of last week, although it is more rare than precedents, injected nearly a thousand cubic hectares (962), which raises the national water reserves above 40,000 HM3, an unprecedented volume since June 2018, nearly seven years ago.

Specifically, storing the tanks 40,857 HM3, which means it is 72.9 % of their energy, this is 1.7 points more than a week ago. This is the fifth consecutive height. Within a little more than a month, the reserve won 8000 HM3, which represents 80 % of all the water consumed in our country in the summer months, when tourism and agricultural irrigation lead to needs.

Compared to last year, the tanks are 15 points and storing 8,500 hectares more cubic. The situation is also better if we compare it with an average of the past decade, 13 points and 7000 HM3 more.
