RHEA CHAKRABorty case: “legal action on CBI must ruin the reputation”

The proper denigration given by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Riya Chakraborty has created a strange disturbance among the intellectuals thus called from our country. The reality is that, as usual, we raised a crowd to apologize to those who did not need to apologize. The only reason is that Riya Chakraborty was punished by the court. So, if the judiciary is not held responsible, then I do not understand that if people are on social networks or outside, why will you extract such anger against many media staff?

Media work consists in reporting. A report that you cannot agree, the exaggeration that accompanies it may not like you, the pain with which this exaggeration has been expressed, you may seem disgusting, but you cannot deny the fact that when the media reported on Riya Chakraborty, he in fact pointed out legal proceedings. The punishment was granted by the person who had both judicial license and legal rights.

I did not remember if a media had put Riya Chakraborty in prison. And I only mention Riya Chakraborty as a symptom of a major disease that affected India. We do very quickly to judge people, when we do not have the right to judge their professional opinion. As I said, I firmly believe that if we do not allow the media to present themselves as they wish, we will remain in a society which will be both isolated and intact by reality.

Of course, many people will say that the way the media raised the problem was probably not correct, but is that the fault of the media? Because if he had done bad reports or created an atmosphere where the judge had reprimanded him, it would have been his mistake. However, you must justify the judiciary. If it can be seduced by the media, it can be easily affected.

I wonder how we stay behind people without discovering the reality of the facts or the tasks they do. Yes, there were people and a special person who apologized and said that the inhabitants of his channel should also apologize. Very well, but we must all be Mahatma Gandhi to prove that we are also honest and true.

And in my opinion, I do not think that it is necessary to apologize to anything, if this person or these people do not believe to apologize. Because by this argument, they must apologize for each of their reports.

Take a simple example. Imagine that a media channel reports a raid led by the Directorate of the Application of Laws on a Particular Person and after eight months or 20 months or even three years later, it shows that it was a witch hunt. Shouldn’t the media have reported it? Would the media have not trusted the facts or the agency agency? Did one of these conscious Gandhi (Mahatma) suggest that agencies should bear the consequences? There was certain parties of disclosed information which included private cats: did the media or the anchors disclose it? If not, why has their blood thirsty? Has anyone mentioned official secret or the violation of directives? The answer is not. Has anyone asked agencies to apologize? The answer is not. But then, target Select Media is both easy and fashionable, right?

How can we give logical arguments on what we have seen in the last five days? I am surprised by the way in which we allowed ourselves to be influenced by the partisan referendum, which seems to be aware and not realistic in our attacks and our accents.

The polarization of the media in our country is not carried out by the media but by people outside the media. Saying derogatory things about the media because you do not agree with their opinion, we have now been part of our dictionary. Whether we call them the dock media or the pro -modi or anti -Media, the truth is that the work of the media is to report. If you do not agree with their report, you don’t have to look at the chain.

What if you don’t look at the chain, what is the problem with this? To say that all channels are reported only for TRP, this can be true, but it is a business model. So, modify the business model or look at the chain that you consider as a bad statement, but the blood of the chain or the blood of the anchor of this chain is more unfair than me, in my opinion.

We must therefore breathe deeply in our country. We must allow people to do our job. You cannot agree with them. You may think they are doing something wrong. It’s up to you. If you firmly believe that they have misleaded people, then go to organizations of responsibility, be it the press council or the court of India. But we cannot decide the media and cannot shoot the messenger, when the message itself was in the public domain. Riya Chakraborty was arrested. In a separate case, the Minister of Western Bengal Partha Chatterjee was arrested when he was found in a lot of money in his house. When the media have reported, I remember that many media channels have been excluded or oh, they are supporters of Modi and Mamata Banerjee. Shouldn’t the media have reported it? Isn’t money received? Recently, a huge money was found in the house of an existing judge from the High Court of Delhi. Imagine that the judge is acquitted tomorrow. Shouldn’t the media have reported it? We cannot decide by looking back. Because by looking back, everyone is right.

We must see the realities of the media sector. And media activities are to report. The media sector is to tell people what they see in their own eyes. These are not your eyes or my eyes. And if they look at it with their own eyes, we only have two options. You have to agree with them. The second is not to agree. But we certainly cannot be thirsty for blood like a herd of hyena. This is the problem here.
