Bill for modification of the WAQF 2025: The government presented the WAQF (amendment) bill in LOK SABHA. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, presented him in Lok Sabha. It will be discussed for 8 hours in the house. Interior Minister, Amit Shah, told the House that the bill had been submitted to JPC with the consent of the opposition. The cabinet accepted JPC’s suggestions and the bill was provided after JPC’s suggestion.
