Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the modern 3.50 km long landing track on the Ganga motorway in Shahjahanpur on Sunday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a great announcement of the expansion of the Ganga motorway and said that it would be extended from Prayagraj to Ghazipur. It is planned to build an industrial center along the highway in Shahjahanpur, which will provide a job to thousands of young people and will bring a new life in the economy of the region.
According to the news agency, the chief minister said that the Ganga motorway is linked to Bundelkhand via Link Expressway from Farrukhabad. This will accelerate the creation of industrial units in Bundelkhand. Yogi has expressed his confidence that the Ganga highway will prove to be an important step in the development of the Uttar Pradesh. He informed that the construction of the highway will be completed by November 2025.
After that, the chief minister arrived in Hapur to see the progress of the construction of the Ganga motorway. During the inspection, chief secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and UPDA officials were present with the chief minister.

He said that the Ganga motorway measures approximately 594 km from Meerut to Prayagraj, connecting the western and eastern parts of the state. Bhoomi Pujan of the highway was produced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 18, 2021 in Shahjahanpur. He will start from the village of Jeweli de Meerut sur Meerut-Bulandshahr Marg (NH-334) and will end in the village of Judapur Dandu in Prayagraj bypass (NH-19).
