The “Secret” Salamana Restaurant offers a unique experience of its kind in the intestine in Spain

He will not eat. It also does not go to the show. Or maybe both of them. Last January, it opened its “other” doors, a restaurant with a suggestion to taste overwhelming food that does not leave anyone indifferent. “We believe that cooking art is already experience,” says Alfredo Matalana, restaurant director. However, they wanted to bring this habit to the extreme. He says: “It is a supplementary project for” life and food “that allows us to try the elements that collide with a more traditional restaurant.”

This is a little. In fact, the director indicates, it is a unique proposal in Spain. “There are two other types at the national level and they also have visual audio expectations, but they are not the same.” But what should this restaurant be very special? “It is a secret experience where the customer, as a hero, participates in a series of factors that occur during food taste,” Alfredo explains. Two details make a somewhat unforgettable dinner: secrecy and overwhelming.

Clandestine because they seek to surprise dinner from the beginning: a code is sent as soon as the reservation is made and the restaurant is inserted via a door near the main door. There, in “pre -size” customers know that they are not a group of friends or family, and this is exactly one of the most surprising factors: Most reserves consist of strangers. “More than 85 % of the reserves are unknown, we did not expect it but it was very positive and exciting,” he says.

And overwhelming because through expectations on the table and an envelope sound, an unforgettable experience is achieved with the dishes that accompany the subject of the images. “There is a lot of food tasting level that we wanted to cause different sensations that do not usually live in a restaurant,” says Alfredo. In a world where digitization and audiovisual monopoly were any sector, its introduction in the art of cooking was risky, but tempting. “We have been working on this since the summer to be a strong thing and because we wanted, as soon as we opened, all guarantees,” Alfredo explains.

Ideal strangers

Display tasting food. “We are trying to make an accurate speech and be very serious about food,” he says. A unique immersive experience. “To provide a special experience,” and sharing it with its acquaintances or unknown can become friends. This details are full magic. “We remove our hat using Salamanca, the result was great, and people are very open and this allows you to meet people and get out of your comfort zone,” Alfredo says.

To the extent that many people are playing in a way that continues to contact the “room speaking”. “They want to download the revolutions after the experience and comment, as is the case when leaving the cinema and talking about the movie,” he says. However, for those who do not dare this “width”, the restaurant also offers a more usual suggestion: a snack next to the original Foodtruck, a quiet meal or a cocktail bar. “For those looking for something more private, we have that secret angle,” it is saved.

Although at all times, it was determined that it can be an experience compared to strangers -not exactly to be done for religion who reserve -a couple of an enjoyable story to their love story. They celebrated the anniversary and did not notice that observation, at all times, was dismantled. “The girl gave her to her friend, and when they entered the press and saw many strangers they were somewhat out of time,” Alfredo says. However, after living the experience the result was incredible. “Then I spoke to them and loved her,” he said. An excuse to celebrate it again, this time, and they are alone. It will not be very surprising but special.
