The Israeli Human Rights Movement “Al -Salam” revealed that the “Supreme Planning Council” of the Israeli occupation army will discuss a new settlement plan to build 1673 settlement units in regulations of the Palestinian land in occupied Wednesday on Wednesday.
The movement, specializing in the monitoring of Israeli colonization activities in occupied West Bank and in the occupied city of Jerusalem, said in a statement today, Sunday, that these units will be held in 6 colonies, in particular: the colony “Betar eilite” in the southwest of the city of Bethlehem, and Jafta Zeev “and Jerusalem and Jerusalem From “Kiryat” Nataf “Northwest, Jerusalem and” Kiryat “Louon Moreh” east of Nablus.
The movement has indicated that since the beginning of 2025, and with the plans to be approved next week, the Supreme Planning Council approved the construction of 18959 settlement units, in a standard number compared to previous years.
Last week, the government of the occupation approved the construction of 22 new colonies in the West Bank, at a time when the number of settlers in the West Bank at the end of 2024 amounted to around 770,000, distributed more than 180 colonies and 256 colony households, including 138 households classified as pastoral and agricultural.
