This solar eclipse arrives two weeks after a total eclipse of the moon, which makes our natural moon “red”. Delevley says that “often happens” because the moon “has done half a ceycle around the earth, which led to the opposite of the regular situation”.
In continental France, the last partial eclipse dates back to October 25, 2022.
On August 12, 2026, a total eclipse will occur, and the total eclipse of France will not cross, but it will block 92% of the solar disk in Paris and 96% in Marseille.
