The Government of Gujarat recently signed an important memorandum of understanding with Lions Club International on March 6, 2025 in order to provide nutrition kits each month during treatment to all patients with state tuberculosis. Under this, TB patients will be adopted and provide them with nutritional support. Lions Club International will play an active role in providing nutritional assistance to patients from the whole state. The state government hopes that such efforts will improve the recovery rate of patients with tuberculosis at faster speed.
