
The reform of the county mobility system is the goal of the sustainable urban mobility plan águeda (PMU), which defines priorities for the next 10 years. The implementation of calm measures of traffic in sensitive points; the structuring of a cycling network of the Council; The expansion of the Beágueda system; the improvement of the conditions of accessibility in public transport; the redevelopment of the vouga line; the implementation of areas 30 and coexistence in the main groups of county; And the construction of the lack of a structuring road network is the main actions to be carried out.
Concrete measures to be implemented
To soothe traffic in some urban areas, 3 new overwhelmed treadmills are planned and 22 speed speeds throughout the county.
The creation of a cycling network on a scale of County is also proposed, connecting the various parishes, i.e. residential clusters and industrial areas, in the center of the city. Starting from the short -term urban cycling network, the cycling connection framed in the new PEC connection route to IC2 and, in the medium term, the consolidation of the road network to the center of the Center de águeda is proposed, allowing the connection between the industrial area Barrô and the city center, as well as for the municipal stadium and the tennis club.
The expansion of the shared electrical bicycles of Beágueda-Heágueda, with new stations to be implemented in the urban center of águeda and outside the city, i.e. à-firreiros, Barrot (bass water), ferments and Belazaima. Most of this short -term expansion will be in the center of águeda, with offices such as the artistic center, the municipal pools and the municipal market, as well as Jardim 1st de Maio.
Conducting a study in order to optimize the offer of the bus network in águeda, improving the supply of the MobeAgeda service: transport on request and implementation of a technological platform for the management of public services are other measures to be carried out.
The prosecutor also deals with the redevelopment of the vouga line, creating the conditions to strengthen the offer. It stands out for the construction of three new appettors (Alagoa, Nest of Eagle and Jafafe) with the aim of guaranteeing the increase in the territorial coverage of this infrastructure, which is the only road by Gauge narrow in operation in Portugal.
The implementation of areas 30 and coexistence is proposed on the plane, from the various residential clusters of the Municipality of águeda. It is proposed in the short term to perform at the Center de águeda, which will gradually follow its expansion in other areas, in particular the nuclei of a greater population density and the surrounding network to educational and health structures.
The prosecutor indicates the need to build the lack of the network of structures. From Intercity connections, it includes the second phase of EN333 that connects IC2 to the municipality of Oliveira do Bairro and the new Aveiro-Itgueda connection, creating a variant in EN230. The construction of the external life is proposed, which will facilitate the connection of En1 with the industrial area of Giesteira and the Casarão commercial park, but also for Ashequins; As well as the Aguada de Cima variant, establishing a new connection between 606-2 and the Casarão Business Park and the Carvalhal-A25 connection, known as the DO Soutelo variant, facilitating the connection of macinhata do vouga to this route of the national network.
The document and the actions to be performed can contribute to the preparation of innovative measures that can be implemented and/or updated in the municipality of águeda, as part of the inter -mo mobility and the transport plan of the Aveiro region (Pimtra).
It is also noteworthy that AGUADA PMUS is aligned with national guidelines in this subject, i.e. the national strategy for the mobility of active cycling 2020-2030 and the national strategy for the 2030 pedestrian active mobility.
