According to a declaration of that party force, the D. Pedro hospital “cannot guarantee the first prenatal obstetric consultation, nor the realization of the first obstetric ultrasound of the quarter, guaranteeing only biochemical screening”.
Therefore, an pregnant user will only have guaranteed the prenatal obstetric consultation of a third quarter in that health unit.
The CDU says that Ulsra has sent “a guide to its health centers so that pregnant users are given to the credentials for the obstetric ultrasound of the first quarter in the private”, forcing Coimbra to find an alternative in units that has a convention with the NHS or support € 140 for the conduct of the ultrasound.
“As regards the obstetric consultation of the first quarter, it was not provided alternative”, explains the PCP-Pev coalition, denouncing “the path followed by the political option” to “fragile NHS and subfinance”. He therefore states “the allocation of financial, materials and human means” so that it is possible to “guarantee the right to health care”.
